Congratulations to Dr. Kevin Schmitz!

Dr. Kevin Schmitz, postdoctoral researcher at Technische Universität Dortmund's Chair of Astroparticle Physics and member of the RAPP Center, has been awarded the Till Moritz Karbach Prize for his dissertation: „Another One Cleans the Dust - A Deep Learning-based Interpretation of an All-time Classic“.

Dr. Kevin Schmitz postdoctoral researcher at TU Dortmund's Chair of Astroparticle Physics and member of the RAPP Center, has been awarded the Till Moritz Karbach Prize for his dissertation:
„Another One Cleans the Dust - A Deep Learning-based Interpretation of an All-time Classic“. 

The Till Moritz Karbach Prize has been awarded annually since 2016 by the Department of Physics at TU Dortmund for a dissertation in the field of particle physics or scientific computing / high performance computing that has been assessed with distinction. It is funded by the parents of Dr. Till Moritz Karbach (1979 - 2015) to support early-career researchers.
